This is a new blog all about the original Lemon Angel Anime series & Japanese pop group "Midnight Lemon Angel" to be precise which debuted in the 1980's.
The producers of the Anime were AIC, Pony Canyon, the anime was released in 1988-1989.
Lemon Angel was a spin-off of the Cream Lemon series. The first
Cream Lemon OVA was released in 1984. Cream Lemon is a collection of somewhat
surreal stories having different settings and situations at different points in time.

Tomo
Tomo is the Anime version of Sakurai Tomo 櫻井 智
At 17, the real Tomo joined the idol pop unit Lemon Angel a counter project of Cream Lemon
coordinated by the same company that produced "Kiss Fairlies". The
project contained comic, animated, and idol pop units. The unit played
themselves in Midnight Anime Lemon Angel, She released 5 albums during her time in Lemon Angel.
Life After Lemon Angel
Sakurai joined a new video game idol unit and released one album with
this unit. After leaving, she focused her career to mainly voice acting
work.
Miki
Miki is the Anime version of Miki Emoto 絵本美希
The real Miki is best known for playing herself in the Anime & Live Action version of Lemon Angel.
Erika
Erika is the Anime version of Shima Erika (Erika Okushima) えりか
who was best known for playing herself in Lemon Angel.
Shima Erika, Sakurai Tomo and Emoto Miki were the living embodiment of the anime trio, whose adventures
mirrored the real Lemon Angel - the quest to become famous idols.
Like their anime counterparts, the real Lemon Angel released some
mildly successful albums and singles. A similar angle was done
with Tamura Eriko, who also debuted as an anime
character before the real one was revealed.
